Zoom Bangladesh School, All Branches
What we do in schooling activities:

• School Feeding Program:
Nutritious meals are essential for children’s mental development. Every day after class, we distribute healthy food to students at all branches. Additionally, we host a monthly Khichuri festival, which helps foster a positive connection to learning. The nutritious offerings include eggs, biscuits, bread, and a variety of vegetables.

• Free Provide educational materials:
We provide all necessary learning materials free of charge. Each month, students receive notebooks, pens, and pencils, which brings them joy. At the beginning of the school year, every child also receives a free school bag and uniform.

• Primary Health Checkup:
Health is vital for effective learning. We conduct monthly health check-ups to ensure that students can study without interruptions due to illness. If necessary, we provide medical care. Many of our students come from challenging environments and may struggle with mental health issues, so we also offer counseling to help them cope.

• Computer Education:
The present world is like a village. Due to the use of information technology, the distance of communication with everyone has decreased. We do not want to keep these children out of information technology. A computer lab has been set up at Zoom Bangladesh School Segunbagicha branch to enrich them with technology knowledge where information and technical education are being given to children through 10 computers.

• Hand-Washing Techniques:
Maintaining hand hygiene is essential for preventing illness. We teach students proper hand-washing techniques, promoting health and hygiene practices that are more effective than any vaccine.
We observe World Handwashing Day in each branch to reinforce this message.

• Distribution of Winter clothes:
Winter brings festive celebrations, but it also brings hardship for the elderly and underprivileged children who lack warm clothing. To address this, Zoom Bangladesh distributes winter clothes and blankets annually to students’ families, ensuring warmth and comfort during the cold months.

• Co-curriculum activities:
The importance of cultural education in accelerating the mental development of the child and building a better character is immense. It is said that if you want to destroy a nation, then destroy the cultural resources of that nation. To enrich the culture of the country, Zoom Bangladesh School trains every child in reciting poetry, dancing, singing, painting, etc.

• Mehndi Festival:
The Mehndi festival means beautiful handcrafted designs. On the day of the Mehndi festival, our girl volunteers perform a little extra duty in each branch. On this day, they paint each child’s hands with henna colored by different designs. Children are more than happy to paint their hands in all these charming designs.

• Eid Festival:
Eid is a significant religious festival for Muslims, but it’s also a day for underprivileged street children. Zoom Bangladesh School provides new Eid clothes to students twice a year, and daily necessities like biryani rice, dal, oil, and Semai sugar are given to their families. This ensures that the students can enjoy the joy of Eid and provide their families with the necessary food. The satisfaction on the faces of these children during Eid is undeniable.

• Fruit Festival:
Fruits play a major role in meeting the nutritional needs of humans. Different types of local and foreign fruits are available throughout the year, and the smell and taste of local fruits are slightly different. During the summer, our school students are given various local and foreign fruits, including mango, jackfruit, litchi, guava, apple, pineapple, and jam.

• Guardian Assembly:
We hold monthly and annual meetings with parents to discuss their children’s progress and the necessary steps to support their education. These gatherings also guide how parents can effectively educate and nurture their children.

• Religion and Moral Education:
Religion and moral education play a vital role in shaping a complete human being. At Zoom Bangladesh, we emphasize these values to guide children, especially those from vulnerable backgrounds, away from crime, drugs, and extremism. Promoting tolerance and strong moral foundations helps build responsible, compassionate citizens.

• Sports Competition
Sports are an integral part of education, fostering discipline and the ability to handle both victory and defeat gracefully. Our annual sports competitions promote the mental and physical development of underprivileged children, helping them develop essential life skills.

• Celebrating National Days
International Mother Language Day (21 February): Zoom Bangladesh commemorates this historic day by building a temporary Shaheed Minar at schools, where students pay tribute to the 1952 language martyrs with flowers and discussions on the significance of the movement. The day honors the global recognition of the Bengali language struggle.
Independence Day: (26th March): is celebrated with sports and cultural events, commemorating the 1971 Liberation War.
Victory Day (16th December): This day celebrates Bangladesh’s final victory and independence after a nine-month-long war. Students participate in special events to honor the martyrs and heroes of the nation.
Other occasions, like Pahela Boishakh and various international days, are also celebrated to promote cultural awareness and unity among students.
