"Zoom Bangladesh: A Dream in Motion"
The name “Zoom Bangladesh” is close to my heart, evoking a depth of emotion and commitment. As we embark on our sixth year, our journey has been filled with dreams, hard work, and countless sacrifices. Each day has offered new experiences and is marked by the reality of struggles, achievements, and challenges. We are lucky to have a team of passionate and relentless volunteers who are the true carriers of these dreams. Rain, scorching heat, or the dead of night cannot deter these determined young volunteers as they run to help those in need. They are like self-sacrificing guides, tirelessly giving of themselves to serve others, never once showing signs of fatigue or seeking excuses.
Our vision is to save every fragile dream, build a better world, and cradle every child’s future. Zoom Bangladesh has become a beacon for countless young aspirations across Bangladesh. Just as numbers fall in line 1 to 6, the stories of Zoom Bangladesh’s growth and contributions will be inscribed in history. Future generations may look to these fearless youths as inspiration. These young torchbearers, lighting the way, never fear or retreat. They are the pride of our nation.
Since 2015, I had a vision of doing something for street children and the helpless. Even back then, I was involved in work with underprivileged children. From officially beginning this journey in 2016 with only 13 children, Zoom Bangladesh has moved forward with purpose and momentum. Today, we operate 7 projects across Dhaka and beyond, with 10 schools, 650+ regular students, and more than 8,000+ volunteers.

Zoom Bangladesh has directly and indirectly assisted thousands of people through various natural calamities, floods, winter colds, and the pandemic. Among our initiatives, “Poribortan” aims to make helpless individuals self-sufficient, and to date, it has successfully transformed over 350+ families. This year, we hope to help 150 more families become self-reliant.
The reach of Zoom Bangladesh is expanding every day, with its work spreading from Dhaka to other divisions and districts. Many young people, wanting to balance studies with service, seek organizations like ours. College and university students from across the country contact us, eager to join and make a difference. We want to expand our dreams nationwide. However, financial constraints often hinder our growth. While the organization has grown, our financial resources have not kept pace. This journey has been possible thanks to the kindness of a few dedicated supporters, whose contributions to Zoom Bangladesh will always be cherished.
There are many kind-hearted people in society, and one day, I am confident they will extend their hands to join us, saying, “This is our country; this is our responsibility.” That day may not be far off. In a country as populous as ours, the government alone cannot shoulder every responsibility. Individual and collective initiatives are essential to support national development. We all need to come together to uplift society.
As we celebrate Zoom Bangladesh’s 8th anniversary, we share in this magazine the experiences, reflections, and voices of our volunteers and well-wishers. Mistakes may occur as we work, and we humbly ask for understanding and forgiveness as we strive to improve. Let us continue to work toward a brighter future, one step at a time.
