His name is Alamin. He is a small student of the first grade of Zoom Bangladesh School, Rangpur branch. He is not very old, but the burden of life is very big. There are no parents in his life, people are living with his grandparents. Grandfather was the only earner in the family, but today he is sick and admitted to the medical school. The fate of the family is now in the hands of that little Alamin.
Even today, in the scorching heat, he walked from the station to the Press Club with nuts and popcorn in his hands. Many things have not been sold yet—yet hope shines in his tired eyes. Because, he knows—it is possible to change yourself by studying even in this life.
There are many children in our school—whose life stories are so difficult. Some work in fish or chicken shops, some ferry eggs or guavas. But in one place, they are all one—they are fighting, dreaming, trying to become human beings.
Zoom Bangladesh School is the name of trust in their dreams. We try so that these children can change the story of their lives one day. But this journey is not possible alone—only the cooperation of you, me, and all of us can fill this path with light.
Let us stand by the Alamins. Let us all build a beautiful future together.
